Hampton Convention & Visitor Bureau

The Hampton Convention & Visitor Bureau is a department of the City of Hampton charged with increasing revenues from visitor spending such as lodging, dining, entertainment, recreation, gas and shopping. The CVB markets the Hampton tourism product to convention planners, business travelers, motorcoach operators and leisure visitors.

In an effort to boost hotel occupancy and visitation to city attractions, Artillery was called in to develop television, radio and print advertising which targets consumers, the group tour industry and segments such as African-American heritage and Civil War enthusiasts. To boost visitation to city attractions, Artillery developed the Hampton Day Pass which offers specially-priced admission to a number of Hampton attractions. A related print and TV campaign supports this effort.
